It's the First Friday of the month and that means it's time for another
First Fridays Blog Hop with the Glitter Queens π
This month we are each featuring one of the Fabulous Stampin' UP! Designer Series Paper collections and creating not one, but two projects. π
I have chosen to work with one of my current favorites, the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper. π I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this foil paper and I must say that photos do not do this paper justice.... It is just so Beautiful in person!!!
For my first project I created this fun Starburst Card
Although this paper series comes in four beautiful colors, I decided to stick with using only the sky blue for this card. While I only used the one color, the collection includes three different design of each color and I made sure to include each pattern for visual interest. I matted everything on whisper white card stock to allow the pieces to stand out and be the all star that they are. Keeping with my simple theme, I added a little gold linen thread under a layered circle with an embossed sentiment from the crafting forever stamp set to finish off the card.
For my second project I had a little fun creating a pocket letter.
Once again I used each of the three patterns but used only one color. My goal was to have the Berry Burst colored Paper from this series as the main Focal point. I used touches of whisper white as my accent color and then sprinkled in a little lemon lime twist here and there for some added interest.

What are do you think? Pretty Fun Snail Mail, right?
Are you familiar with the trend if sending pocket letters?
It's basically a creatively fun way to exchange snail mail with a pen pal. But I adore creating these mini artistic pieces that come together to create a big statement. Then when all is said and done, you fill the back side with some goodies and send it off in the mail to a friend. I mean who doesn't just love getting some happy mail?
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you enjoyed todays projects and please continue hopping along to see all the fabulous goodies the rest of the team has come up with. And if you like what you see, be sure to give everyone some love by posting a comment π
